Aaron Welsh has 30-years of real estate experience throughout the entire capital structure and a deep understanding of capital and property markets across all asset classes.
Most recently, Aaron was a Partner at Apollo Global Management in its real estate credit group. Mr. Welsh was a Managing Director, head of origination, and Co-head of Bank of America's Real Estate Structured Finance business where he also managed the investment bank's global real estate restructurings. Aaron was also a Managing Director at Ladder Capital where he originated both debt and equity for the firm's balance sheet and previously worked at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, and JLL (Jones Lang Wootton).
Mr. Welsh has been honored multiple times in the top 10 of Commercial Observer's Power Finance, which underscores his standing as one of the industry's most influential leaders in real estate. He is a graduate, with distinction, of The Pennsylvania State University with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. Aaron is a mental health advocate who volunteers and supports various organizations working to smash the stigma of mental illness.
